Not long after the presentation in Japan, New York had its own pre-launch extravaganza for the Wii U. Not surprisingly we’ll also see the same two bundles sold at launch, the basic and the premium bundle.
Here’s a summary of all the important info right now:
- Wii U Release Date US: November 18th, 2012 (Sunday)
- Basic (White) Set: 8GB will cost $299.99
- Deluxe (Black) Set: 32GB (including the game Nintendoland) will cost $349.99
The pre-launch conference, which has just ended, furthermore confirmed again that almost all Wii accessories will be backwards compatible.
